Hello watch fans, i hope that someone out there can give me a little information on straps for aquatimers,. i have recently been lucky enough to purchase a watch that i have admired for years its a model 378201 caylipso tribute with the wood insert in the back the watch dates from 2006 and is in excellent condition but altho the rubber strap looks ok with no signs of wear it .
Actually IWC does make it easy to obtain a rubber ( quick change ) strap option for your white dial AT. Unfortunately, there are not many varieties to choose from. Basically it gets down to the choice of black or blue rubber. A black velcro strap is also offered. These can be purchased through any Authorized dealer or IWC Boutique. The Aquatimer 3538 is a very nice watch, but it only appears to be smaller than the 3288 or 3290. The case diameter is identical for both watches at 42 mm, but the 3288 and 3290 are actually only 14.1 mm thick and so 0.7 mm flatter than the 3538.
